Here is a little preview of the painting I'm working on. I wasn't entirely sure what I was going to do with it at first, that's why the roses aren't in the sketch. I got the inspiration for those after I transferred the sketch and then drew them in. I had originally had more of a golden color scheme in mind, but since I also want her to be a bit gothy, I wasn't entirely sure how to make that work with the golden colors I had in mind. So I'll save that color scheme for another time. I also thought about making it a sort of sunset/blues color scheme, but decided against it since I've done a lot of blue colors lately. Now I've decided on some more rosy colors, but a bit muted. I like them so far. :)
I finally managed to finish this one! The title was once again inspired by an Opeth song... just a different one than I was originally thinking of. You can probably tell they're one of my favorite bands. ;)
