Sweet Things Series

I've completed a new series!! I loved working on these so much! I just love how colorful they are! These started out being painted on Claybord, but I soon found out that I despise working on it. I had to stop and try something else. I already knew that I wanted these to be displayed on little easels. They're only 4 x 4"

So I decided to try mounting my normal watercolor paper to the Claybord and then paint on that. After some research, I used some acrylic medium as and adhesive and mounted my paper to the board. It worked out perfectly and the rest of the painting experience worked like a dream! :)

So I have Cupcake, Ice Cream and Candy to present to you! Three tattooed, "Sweet" beauties.

Garden Series Finished!!

I have finally finished my ACEO Garden Series!!  Here are the final 2 paintings:

 "Rose" and "Lotus"

A Few New Things...

I have some new updates to share...
First of all, a couple of new paintings!  These are the next two ACEOs in my Garden series.  #9 and #10 in the series.  There are going to be 12 of them, so I have 2 more to go.  I'm currently working on #11.

Also, some new cross stitch patterns of my art have been released with Heaven and Earth Designs!!  See all that are currently available HERE  I think there is at least one under the quick stitches category too.  :)

 I've been playing around with more chainmaille and made a couple more necklaces.  This stuff is pretty addicting!  ;)  These are both made in the Full Persian weave.

 This first one is made with Olivine Swarovski crystal beads and bright aluminum rings and wire.  It is really light weight!

 This second necklace is pretty much the same as the one I posted a couple weeks ago, but this is made with black anodized aluminum rings and Aquamarine Swarovski crystal beads.  Again, being made with aluminum rings makes this necklace quite light weight.

"Mischief" -- My newest and favorite ACEO! I just love the cute raccoons!! This is the 8th in my ACEO animals series! This painting is for auction on ebay HERE

"The White Rose" -- A new painting of my character, Elekcis, standing by a stained glass window of a white rose. Every now and then I feel the urge to paint her! :)

"Waterfall Mist: -- A fairy standing in the mist of a waterfall. This one was a love of fun to paint. I love the monochromatic color scheme and am really happy with how the water drops on her turned out. Make sure to click on the detail view!!

Some sketches and Rings!

I also have a couple sketches that I need to get started painting.

This first one I sketched a few months ago, but haven't gotten around to painting it yet.  I've made a few subtle changes to it since this scan of it though.

The next one I just finished sketching tonight, and it is of my character Elekcis again.  I love to paint her!  I don't know what I'm going to call it yet.
