Newest Art

 "Crimson Wings"
This painting was done for the Enchanted Visions Project for the theme, crimson wings.  I took mine in a horror/fantasy direction.  I'm really pleased with how she turned out!  She's probably one of my favorites I've done in a while.
Prints and the Original Painting are available HERE

 "Pumpkin Patch"
This next one I finished JUST in time for Halloween!  I like some things about it but I think I could have improved a couple things if I'd had more time to work on it.  But for the most part, I'm happy with it.  :)
Prints are available HERE

Kitties!
Summertime, outside
In September, we took in a stray cat.  She'd been hanging around all Summer and when it was starting to get a little cooler outside she decided that she wanted to move in with us.  Yes, she decided.  She came in through a hole in our screen door and made herself at home.  LOL  Luckily we liked her so we let her stay.  Isn't she pretty!  :)

Pweese, let me in!
Of course, being a female stray... she had to be pregnant.
On October 30th, she had 3 kittens.  I knew for sure that she was pregnant maybe 2-3 week before she gave birth.  At least she and her kitties have a warm place to stay and plenty of food to eat, plus 4 humans that are pretty crazy about them!  :)  Especially Momma, Freya!  We haven't gotten to know the kittens too much yet, but they get more adorable every day.  They're currently 3 weeks old.  We probably won't be able to keep all three kittens, but plan on keeping at least one of them along with Freya.  Hopefully we can find good homes for the other 2.  :) These are some of my favorite pics of her and her kittens.  I haven't gotten many very good ones of the kittens yet since she has them under my bed!  lol

A Few New Things...

I have some new updates to share...
First of all, a couple of new paintings!  These are the next two ACEOs in my Garden series.  #9 and #10 in the series.  There are going to be 12 of them, so I have 2 more to go.  I'm currently working on #11.

"Daffodil" and "Orchid"

Limited Edition Prints for these and the rest of The Garden Series are available on my website.

Also, some new cross stitch patterns of my art have been released with Heaven and Earth Designs!!  See all that are currently available HERE  I think there is at least one under the quick stitches category too.  :)

I've been playing around with more chainmaille and made a couple more necklaces.  This stuff is pretty addicting!  ;)  These are both made in the Full Persian weave.

This first one is made with Olivine Swarovski crystal beads and bright aluminum rings and wire.  It is really light weight!

This is for sale in my Etsy shop HERE

This second necklace is pretty much the same as the one I posted a couple weeks ago, but this is made with black anodized aluminum rings and Aquamarine Swarovski crystal beads.  Again, being made with aluminum rings makes this necklace quite light weight.

This one is also for sale in my etsy shop, with more photos and description, HERE

New Painting and Jewelery

"Midnight Masquerade" -- This is my newest painting that I just finished Wednesday night!  She was done for the Enchanted Visions Project, and my first contribution to it!  :)  I'm really happy with how she turned out.  This is the first full-size painting I've done all Summer!

I still have 4 more of the Garden Series ACEOs left to do, but I needed a break to do something else.  I don't know if I'll do another bigger painting next or another ACEO.

Watercolor, white goauche and colored pencil.  8.5 x 11"  Check out the detail view!  Prints and the Original painting are available on my website!

New Dog Tag Necklaces!!
I made a new batch of dog tag necklaces recently!  These new ones feature the ladies of my Garden Series!  The dog tag necklaces are my favorites that I've made!  I think they showcase the artwork the best!  :)  These and more are available in my Etsy Shop for only  $12 each.  You can visit it by clicking the picture below!

Chainmaille!
I've recently tried out making chainmaille jewelry for the first time!  It's really addicting, so I can see making some more things in the future.  I already have a couple in mind!  :)

This was my first attempt... the Dragonscale weave.  It's kind of an ambitious weave for a first time, but I saw a bracelet like it, so I had my mind set on making one.  lol

My next creations were a matching necklace and bracelet!  I only intended on making the necklace, but had enough supplies for a bracelet too!  This was done in the Full Persian weave, with bright aluminum rings and large Jet Swarovski crystal beads!  I love them and was tempted to keep them for myself!  lol  But I put them up for sale on Etsy.  (might have to make a set for myself sometime ;)They are for sale separately in my shop.  Click the picture below to see them.

Newsletter and Guestbook

I have new newsletter and guestbook services for my website! I wasn't particularly happy with either of my old ones and I think that often my old newsletter didn't work properly. And with my new guestbook, I can reply back to messages. I don't like people to feel like I'm ignoring their nice comments.  :)  So if you'd like to make sure that you get all my updates of my artwork and website as soon as possible, please sign up for my newsletter by clicking the link above or by visiting my website!  I may even start doing some sort of occasional give-aways in the future!  :)  And sign my guestbook if you'd like, or if you signed my last one!  I always love to hear from all of you!  :)

Jewelry and Website

I hope that everyone had a great Easter!!

I've been tinkering with my website this week and have posted all my remaining stock of jewelry for sale on my website! This is including some beaded, non-art jewelry that I've make in the last year! It is a fun little hobby, but I haven't had as much time for it lately.

There is only one of each piece left, and I'm not sure when or if I will make any more, so if you see something that you want, grab it up while it's still available!!

Visit my jewelry page HERE!

Some of you may remember my original website design with the vines. If not, I've posted an old screen shot.

I sort of missed the vines a little in my newer design, so I incorporated them back into the design of my website.  :)  It looks really great on a larger monitor, since the vines don't get cropped at all.  I'm satisfied with it for now.  Every now and then I have to play around with my website.  lol
